Energy Flow with Chains, Webs & Pyramids

Energy flow in an ecosystem can be show many different ways. Understand the advantages  and disadvantages of each can be helpful in our Lab HABITAT HOLD'EM and for our upcoming test next week on Chapter 18. The following video does a pretty quick, but good job of it.

Food Chains benefit us by being simple (but too simple). Energy Pyramids are Food Chains that try to show us the losss of energy through trophic levels and the varying degrees of abundance based on that level. Lastly Food Webs try to show us every possible energy pathway in an ecosystem.
