It's hard to understand what's happening right now because in reality we don't fully understand COVID-19 yet. For instance there are a lot of different mortality rates being shared (between 1-3.5%). This is in part because it's hard to know how many mild cases of the disease are going un reported. SciShow tries to explain these nuances and what we can actually do (to flatten the curve).
